The participation of our company at “Future Earth” enhanced the knowledge about one of our lead products: am.plms. The presence of Sintesi Srl at the section “New Energies” of “Future Earth”, the important International event that takes place ever year at Florence, was an out-and-out success.
Hundreds of people visited our stand and showed particular interest in the am.plms solution (asset management public lighting management system): our application suite, created for an efficient and economical management of the public light plants, is addressed to all those organizations dealing with the technological assets.
In perfect sync with the aim of the event, that one of guaranteeing an Earth’s future that respects more and more the environment and people, our company designed a product able to help the public administrations to significantly reduce wastes in the management system of public lighting. By mapping and registering of each single lighting item, the application helps the public administration to acquire a general picture of the lighting plant status quo, as for example the type of light bulb used and its consume. Furthermore, am.plms controls each asset during its life cycle, thus planning the maintenance works.
It is an easy solution not only to install, as it runs entirely on web platform, but also to use. The operator is able to communicate in real-time each single malfunctioning as he is provided with a mobile device that converses with the central system.
One more time, am.plms demonstrated that new technologies play an important role in helping the public administrations to fulfill one of their main tasks: keep down the costs and guarantee an efficient service to the citizen, and why not by being compliant to the environmental code.
