The Award "Premio Impresa Ambiente" (Award for the Company Environment) www.premioimpresambiente.it) is currently on its IV Edition and its primary goal is to award private or public Companies particularly outstanding in terms of sustainable development, environmental respect and social responsibility. The award "Premio Impresa Ambiente" is the Italian selection of the European Business Awards for the Environment, set up in 1987 by the General Management Environment of the European Commission to promote the Organizations contributing to the sustainable development.
For the 2010 edition, the "Premio Impresa Ambiente"  is carried out through the partnership with Ecoplis (www.ecolopolis.fieraroma.it), International event focused on topics like the urban environment and the sustainability, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce in Rome and the Fair Board n Rome with the contribution of the Ministry of the Economic Development, Ministry of the Environment and Safeguard of the Territory and "UnionCamere".
The event will take place in Rome from 13th  to 14th of April. The award ceremony will take place at the last day (at the closure of the event).
Sintesi sent its participation with the solution am.plms, the suite making more efficient, less expensive and more eco-compatible the management of big technological networks, particularly the one related to the public lighting. The integrated and effective management of the public lighting is one of the priorities of Local Government and Utilities. The use and the maintenance of the public lighting are one of the major items of expense for the Local Government and , more and more, are important for the environmental respect . Through the usage of innovative technologies, we can reduce the energy consumption, the costs of the plants, their extension and modernization, simulate improvement situations, select materials that can contribute to reduce the lighting pollution to offer to the citizens services less expensive, of a better quality and in full harmony with the sustainable development.
